Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics in London she took home gold medals for team and floor competitions and bronze on the balance beam. As a result, she became the first American in the Olympics who had the most number of medals. At the 2016, Olympics she won gold in the team event which brought her as well as her teammate Gabby Douglas the distinction of having been one of the very first Americans to have two consecutive gold medals for the team. She also won two silver medals for the floor exercise as well as an individual all-around. After the 2 Olympics she had taken off from competitive gymnastics for 3 years. Gold medal winner American team also took home two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice in the age of 2 and her favourite event is floor exercise. Aly has enrolled in her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandmother. She would like to become a fashion designer and expand the range of her leotards and socks in the very near future. Fierce is a novel she is writing will come released this year.
